Piper Maddox are supporting a globally recognised Tier-1 supplier for the Aerospace sector in finding a Thermal Management Systems Engineer. The business was founded over 70 years ago and now has around 40,000 employees globally contributing towards the advancement of Aircraft technology. They work on a broad range of electrical systems and have over 70 locations across the world. This specific office that is looking to recruit a Thermal Management Systems Engineer is focusing on developing products for the electric aviation space and working with some of the leading names in the eVTOL and fixed-wing industry. It will give you a chance to start working on innovative and novel technologies such as Hydrogen and Fully electric propulsion systems for clean aerospace.

As a Thermal Management Systems Engineer, you will be:

* Define system architecture for Thermal management sub-systems and their development
* Support the business with CFD, Thermal Analysis and integration for heat exchangers and electric propulsion systems.
* Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts on architecture definition, systems and component engineering, defining the trade-off studies and participation on system modelling and simulation
* Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of novel technology
* Preparation and participation of system test and acceptance test procedure in a highly capable test facility

What we are looking for:

* Bachelor's Degree qualified in Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline
* Experience gained in Thermal Management System Engineering (ideally within an Aerospace environment)
* Understanding of Systems Engineering approach with requirements capture and development
* Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
* Passion for sustainable aviation technologies
