Job Opportunity: Experienced TIG Welder in Birmingham

Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder for one of our clients based in Birmingham.

Position: TIG Welder
Location: Birmingham, UK
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Hourly Rate:

• £14 to £15.50 – Depending on experience
• Overtime: Time and a half during the week and on Saturdays, double time on Sundays

Requirements:

• Experience: Extensive experience in aluminum TIG welding is required to be considered to this role
• Technical Skills: Ability to read weld specifications on technical drawings
• Versatility: Experience welding flat bar, square box sections, and tubular sections
• Material Range: Proficient in working with materials ranging from 2mm to 10mm

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Essential):

• Experience in MIG welding aluminum or fabrication

• Training Opportunities: Access to both internal and external training on all processes within the fabrication and welding departments
