Position: Timber Machinist

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Timber Machinist to operate and maintain woodworking machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality timber products.

Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Set up and run saws, planers, molders, and CNC machines.
  • Blueprint Reading: Work from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment.
  • Material Handling: Load raw materials and handle finished products efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Work with team members to meet production goals.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of production and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1+ years in a woodworking or machining role.
  • Skills: Proficient with woodworking machinery, blueprint reading, and quality control.
