Toolmaker

Toolmaker required to join a well-established manufacturer of plastic extrusions based in the Great Barr, Birmingham area. The successful candidate will live within the area and come from a toolmaker/manual machinist background.

• Use of Surface grinders, lathes and other manual machinery
• Support other colleagues and provide guidance where needed.
• Complete tool reports and ordering of spare parts
• Comply with company standards

• Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar previously
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of lean manufacturing
• Live within a commutable distance to Great Barr

• Full time - Permanent
• Day shift - Monday to Friday 07:00am to 16:00pm (Friday finish at 13:00pm)
• Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
• Competitive holiday allowance
• Pension
