Heritage Group Travel - 30 hours a week

Heritage Group Travel, a Bath-based cultural tour operator, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our small team based in offices in central Bath. The person should be self-motivated and prepared to take on a variety of tasks needed as and when they arise. Your primary role will be to process bookings and deal with client monies, good numeracy skills are therefore imperative. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys dealing with people and who is comfortable in a 'hands-on’ environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Processing and managing bookings and dealing with client monies
  • Inputting client details into our in-house data base
  • Raising confirmation invoices
  • Issuing ATOL certificates
  • Managing client bookings from the point of contact to final balance payments
  • Assisting with flight arrangements
  • Liaising with suppliers and finalising tour preparations
  • Preparing final documents for distribution to group organisers, clients, and suppliers
  • Dealing with client cancellations
  • Collating tour feedback
  • Supporting the Finance Manager and Product Managers where needed

Essential Requirements

  • Good numeracy skills
  • Excellent organisational and inter-personal skills
  • Good standard of written English
  • Ability to plan own workload, manage multiple tasks and prioritise
  • Proactive approach and the ability to work without supervision
  • Flexibility (a small company environment involves collaborative working)
  • Experience of customer/client contact

Start Date - mid September 2024

Salary - pro rata £23K-£25K depending on experience
