Tractor Driver / General Farm Worker with previous experience of driving a tractor is sought for a 5th generation arable / food and farming business in Lincolnshire.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates MUST have a full driving licence and their own transport as you will be travelling from field to field around Holbeach Hurn, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas.
SALARY: £12.44 - £13.22 per hour
LOCATION: Holbeach Hurn, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. You will be expected to travel from field to field to carry out your duties.
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Seasonal Contract
WORKING HOURS: Contracted 40 hours per week but flexibility is required as this is a seasonal role

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Tractor Driver / General Farm Worker with previous experience of driving a tractor, who has the ability to work alone in the fields and also work as part of a team to support all entities on the farming business.
The organisation is a family-owned 5th generation food and farming business, farming 700ha of specialist vegetable crops including Spinach, Leeks and Kale. They have harvesting and planting roles available to support their current operations team, based from the main farming operations site at Holbeach.
As the Tractor Driver / General Farm Worker you will be a hardworking and reliable individual with an interest in modern farming practices.
Working as the Tractor Driver / General Farm Worker you will be responsible for a range of duties, including operating modern machinery such as Fendt and New Holland tractors, teleporter and forklift trucks, yard and equipment maintenance, and contributing to other areas of the farming operations when required.
DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the Tractor Driver / General Farm Worker include:
- The farming business operates a modern fleet of Fendt and New Holland tractors
- Follow all H&S systems including Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work and report any areas of concern
- Ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards
- Assist with tasks such as yard and equipment maintenance
- Aid other areas of the farming operations if required
- Maintain and keep up to date records required by the Farm Manager to provide full traceability and ensure audit compliance etc.
- There will be good opportunities for development within the total farming operation for candidates that are looking to the future
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience of driving a tractor
- Self-motivated individual, who can work to a high standard on their own initiative
- Be willing to support all entities of the farming business
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Attention to detail with a strong work ethic and willingness to embrace challenges
- An interest in modern farming practices
- Full driving licence and own vehicle is essential
- Teleporter and forklift licences would be beneficial
