Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for international trade? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trade Finance Officer to join our team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to play a crucial role in facilitating global trade operations and ensuring financial efficiency within a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, guarantees, and documentary collections.
  • Liaise with banks, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth transaction flow.
  • Conduct credit checks and risk assessments on potential trade partners.
  • Monitor and manage trade finance facilities to optimize usage and compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to trade finance activities.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members on trade finance matters.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in trade finance, preferably within the metals or commodities sector.
  • Strong understanding of trade finance instruments and international trade regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in trade finance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is preferred.
