We're looking for a highly creative and driven Business Development Manager to join our client, a specialist supplier of environmentally friendly and sustainable living products for inside and outside the home. You would play a key role building and maintaining relationships with trade partners, distributors, and key accounts, while also collaborating closely with the marketing team to create impactful campaigns and promotions.

The role will suit a results-oriented strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in previous trade sales and marketing roles, ideally within the home and garden sector. A thorough and demonstrable understanding of trade channels, distribution networks and customer dynamics will be key.

Full-time permanent opportunity based at the company's Hitchin HQ. Offering a salary of up to £40,000 plus uncapped commission with a fantastic range of benefits including profit share bonus scheme, retail discounts programme, childcare scheme, gym discount, plus a range of wellbeing initiatives to encourage positive mental health inside and outside the workplace.

The Role:
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives aimed at driving growth and increasing market share within our target segments. Key responsibilities will include…
- Developing and implementing trade sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives
- Cultivating relationships with trade partners, distributors and key accounts to expand market presence and drive sales growth
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives targeting trade customers
- Analysing market trends, competitor activity, customer feedback, to identify opportunities for growth
- Monitoring sales performance metrics and provide regular reports and insights to senior management
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of trade strategies.
