Trades Manager
  • Hourly Rate: £19.02 - £23.60 (Umbrella Rate)
  • Location: Sheffield (S2 ostcode)

As the successful candidate you will manage a diverse team of trades operatives and oversee small projects, ensuring high standards of customer service and stakeholder management.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee a team of approximately 10 trades operatives, including roofers, plasterers, painters, joiners, and plumbers.
  • Manage small projects, such as addressing drainage issues, joinery, roof leaks, and property damage.
  • Conduct site meetings and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Engage in stakeholder management to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure the team operates efficiently, meeting project deadlines and maintaining high standards of work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven management experience in a trades environment.
  • Qualified in a trade (excluding electricians) with relevant certifications.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience conducting health and safety inspections.
  • Strong contract management skills, including overseeing contractors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
