A role has arisen to join the Order Management team in a leading asset management house based in London. My client is looking to hire an experienced operations professional looking to take their career to the next level.

This role is a multi facted position and will the give incumbent great exposure across all area's of the business. Duties include:

Processes standard and moderately complex investment orders from portfolio managers and research analysts within Funds or client segregated accounts.

Verifies that all trade authorizations are in compliance with guidelines and regulatory rules, tax and eligibility criteria, Action List rating and other restrictions.

Anticipates, addresses and resolves compliance issues.

Coordinates investment orders that impact multiple portfolio managers as well as orders that are internal transfers from one portfolio manager to another portfolio manager.

Identifies, prepares and reviews inter-account transactions for execution.

May authorize foreign exchange and fixed income transactions.

Authorizes investment orders for Trading to execute.

Communicates with Trading and investment professionals if investment orders need to be revised.

This is a role which would suit someone with a couple of years trade operations experience ideally in a buyside house however the client would also consider candidates from IB. A background covering trade support and middle office in asset management would be ideal
