In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity of trading standards, ensuring that consumer protection laws are upheld and local businesses adhere to regulations.   • Conduct inspections and investigations to enforce trading standards
  • Collaborate with local businesses and community stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of trading standards policies

Preferred Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in enforcing trading standards and consumer protection laws
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and policies
  • Attention to detail and meticulous approach to work
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Consumer Protection, Business, Law, or related field
  • Relevant professional certifications or accreditations
  • Knowledge of trading standards legislation and best practice
