**Profile:**
- Minimum of 18 months' experience in an accountancy practice.
- Preferred qualification: A-levels.
- Professional demeanor with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Xero/Sage, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Responsibilities:**
As a Trainee Accountant, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
- Handling financial administration and electronic document management.
- Managing Companies House filing processes.
- Utilising Xero, Sage, and Excel to prepare accurate client books.
- Managing VAT returns on behalf of clients.
- Assisting in basic payroll preparation for clients.
- Supporting the audit department in file preparation.
- Participating actively in client site audit visits.
- Maintaining effective client communication via phone and email.
- Contributing to general office duties in Brentwood.
