Trainee Accountant

Your new company

Your new company is a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced media group who are located in Manchester City Centre. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent position for someone looking to progress in their career.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for
- Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger accounts- Facilitating and delivering financial activity for the business.
- Assist in preparing various financial reports and statements by reviewing journal entries
- Assist in reconciling intercompany accounts and resolving discrepancies.- Prepare intercompany invoices and assist with related transactions.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be part-qualified studying towards ACCA or CIMA with proven experience of financial reporting. You will be a strong communicator, have a proactive approach with a positive attitude, and be driven to progress in your career. You must have exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail, along with the ability to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
