Trainee Accountant

Trainee Accountant required. My client is an accountancy practice, established for over 40 years based in the High Peak area of Derbyshire. Due to recent growth, they are seeking a trainee accountant to join their friendly and welcoming team.

• Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Prepare business tax computations
• Prepare and submit tax returns
• Bookkeeping

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice and be AAT qualified/part-qualified.

• 1+ previous years' experience working in an accountancy practice
• AAT qualified/part-qualified
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A highly organised individual
• Be able to take initiative, work to deadlines and prioritise work
• Ability to work well within a team

The successful candidate must maintain a high level of service, providing clients with a five-star service at all times. My client prides themselves on the service that they provide to all of their clients.

• £20,000-£25,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
