Axon Moore are proud to be working alongside a highly-valued client as they look to recruit an ambitious Junior/Trainee Accountant to their high-calibre team. This progressive role is perfect for recent Graduates and AAT studiers seeking to establish a career within finance whilst also enjoying fantastic development opportunities and benefits.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Maintain processes imposing an adequate level of control over treasury activities and provide support for regulatory reporting
  • Maintain all domestic and global banking relationships
  • Oversee daily cash positioning activities, i.e. liquidity, reconciliations and reporting
  • Ownership for accounting confirmations and settlements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Producing statutory accounts for smaller entities
  • Journal entries
  • Support with external audit
  • Projects relating to systems, processes and audits
  • Other ad-hoc duties
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • IT and Microsoft Excel proficient
  • Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Eager to progress and succeed in career
