Have you started your career in Practice and want to work for a modern, forward thinking firm with a sociable team and an interesting and varied client base? This role could be for you.  Due to continued growth my client is looking for a Trainee Accountant to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has gained some initial experience within Accountancy Practice and is looking to build on that in their next role whilst studying for a professional qualification. 
As a Trainee you will be supporting a Senior Accountant and will gain exposure to all areas of Accounts, Tax and Bookkeeping, your main responsibilities will be:
  • Assisting in the preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
  • Assisting with Corporate Tax calculations and completing self-assessment tax returns
  • Basic bookkeeping for clients and assisting with VAT returns

To be considered, applicants will have a spent at least 1 year working in an Accountancy Practice and will ideally have gained experience in preparing accounts and have basic bookkeeping knowledge.
