Trainee Construction Administrator

Due to continued growth and expansion, our reputable, innovative, and dynamic client within the construction industry have a brand-new permanent vacancy for a Trainee Construction Administrator to join the team.

Based within the stunning offices in Gloucester, this is a chance to be a part of a supportive and flexible company that have a very low turnover of staff and work within a role that will offer great variety along with the opportunity to learn and develop.

Previous experience in this role is not necessary, so long as you have an interest in construction and a willingness to learn. Essentially, we are looking for someone with a great attitude and personality who is keen to do a good job, learn and develop.

Responsibilities

- Source, procure and hire plant equipment and construction materials from suppliers.

- Negotiating best prices with suppliers.

- Occasional hands-on collection and movement of heavy equipment from office storage, ready for pickup.

- Maintaining supplier relationships.

- Stick to project timelines, chasing up departments as needed.

- General administration and ad-hoc office duties.

Hours - 37.5h per week - Monday - Friday

Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) + excellent benefits including:

- 28 days holiday PLUS bank holidays (some to be kept for Christmas shut down).

- Pension.

- Death in service.

- Special lunch provided one Friday per month.
