Mploy Staffing Solutions Ltd is looking to introduce an Apprentice Currency Broker to our client in Dorchester, Dorset.

Why should you be interested? Our client is offering:

  • Apprentice pay at £6.40 per hour in year one.
  • an uncapped commission scheme that can develop. Expect to earn £5 per new client registered with a £15 per client topping £10,000 in fees per month. Our client will look to develop this commission scheme as you grow in the business, details available on request.
  • a chance to qualify whilst working. During the 14-month apprenticeship you’ll gain a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration.
  • full time & permanent Monday to Friday work, 40 hour per week contract. Expect working hours of 0830hrs to 1700hrs daily with weekly study time built in. Our client is open to discussing your working hours needs and can be flexible for the right candidate.
  • hybrid work/study, at client’s discretion. Expect to work between 1 to 2 days per week in our client’s offices.
  • a company workplace pension. Employer contributions can progress in line with long service.
  • 29 days of holiday per annum, can increase to 26+8 with long service.
  • regular paid for staff & client outings.

Still interested? In return for these excellent benefits our client is looking for a candidate who:

  • wants to: build a career in financial services; be a successful Salesperson, Account Manager, Trader and is aspirational/driven. You’ll initially be motivated by acquiring new/lucrative clients, building strong relationships and maximising personal/company earnings.
  • has experience in or desperately wants to learn how to source, develop and onboard business. Our client approaches both business & private clients with a variety of products to ensure bank beating exchange rates whilst minimising foreign exchange risk. Our client regularly exchanges £10,000 to £10,000,000 per transaction into 38 different currencies.
  • is confident and consultative. Expect to conduct high volumes of outbound prospecting daily targeting senior decision makers. You’ll consult on client needs, demonstrate capability, manage objections and onboard new accounts. Not only will you learn how to ask for commitment, but you’ll convert prospects into loyal clients.
  • ideally has some business-to-business sales & telephony experience.
  • has a student mentality and can learn. Outside of the formal qualification expect to learn about Foreign Exchange, International Payments, Spot Transfers, Forward Contracts, Limit Orders, Multi-Currency Accounts & our client’s international payments platform.
  • is system savvy. You’ll be conversant with the Microsoft Office package and will pick up new software easily. Experience using a CRM is a plus and expect to learn our client’s proprietary platforms (front and back end).
  • is an articulate & strong communicator.
  • is resilient, proactive, productive & can motivate themselves easily.
  • is willing to travel and attend trade shows.
