My client is an established electronic / instrumentation manufacturer in the Ossett area of Wakefield.

Following year on year success my client has exciting growth plans leading to an exciting opportunity arising for a Production Operative to join their team on a Permanent basis.

You will ensure a wide range of electronic assemblies and sensors are manufactured to a high standard in line with work instructions and the production schedule.

Duties:

Responsible for manufacturing a wide range of gas detection products.
Daily use of small hand tools, soldering irons, test gas and computer software.
Accurately follow work instructions to ensure consistent manufacturing, highlighting areas for improvement to the Production Engineering Team.
Data recording to book time and manufacturing data.
Working within a team to achieve daily Production KPI's.
Safe use of cylinder gas and hand tools in line with company training and HSE requirements.
Working across different departments as required by business demands.

Role Requirements:

Procedural and target driven approach to work.
Practical Knowledge of manufacturing assembly
Experience working safely within a production environment
Experience using varied computer software.
Manufacturing Qualification is preferred but not essential
Manufacturing techniques such as soldering & wiring (preferred but not essential)
The ability to pay attention to detail.
