Location: Collingbourne Ducis, Wiltshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent - On-site
Salary: £30,000-36,000 (per annum)

Actio Recruitment is supporting our manufacturing client in Collingbourne Ducis in their search for a Trainee Obsolescence Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a specialism in electronics or mechanical engineering, as full training will be provided.

The Role:

• Support customers with engineering solutions for obsolete electronics and at-risk components.
• Identify and implement cost-effective and sustainable solutions to ensure long-term product support.
• Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to manage component lifecycle risks.
• Assist in maintaining product reliability and compliance through proactive obsolescence management.

About You:

• Background in electronics or mechanical engineering (training provided).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a specialist field.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
