We are currently seeking a Trainee Fee Earner to join our Housing Disrepair team based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about their work, dedicated to providing excellent service, and committed to achieving the best results for clients.
About the Role:
We are looking for candidates with claimant or defendant experience, or Fee Earners/Paralegals with a strong track record of handling pre and post-litigated housing disrepair cases. Experience in Personal Injury is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload of housing disrepair claims, including pre and post-litigated cases.
- Draft various interlocutory applications.
- Liaise with Counsel and provide clear instructions as needed.
- Handle cases from instruction through to settlement with complete autonomy.
- Tackle complex cases, including small claims, fast track, and multi-track cases.
About You:
- Essential: Previous housing disrepair experience.
- Target-driven while maintaining exceptional client care.
- Confident in working to targets.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the CPR and Housing Conditions case law.
- High level of client care.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
