Pertemps Enfield are currently looking for a Trainee Finance Assistant to work with an established company based in Suffolk. This is a Permanent position and interviews are taking place as soon as requested.

Job requirement
  • Paperless filing of Supplier purchase invoices/statements
  • Assisting with Customer requests and/or queries
  • Reconciling and filing Customer remittances
Assisting Purchase Ledger
  • Processing of Purchase invoices
  • Allocating PODs to jobs
  • Assisting with invoice queries
Assisting Sales Ledger
  • Adding costs to jobs
  • Assisting with the raising and sending of invoices to our customers
  • Sending statements to our customers, either as per monthly schedule or upon request.
Filing management
  • Maintaining paper filing process
  • Filing completed job files
  • Reporting to and assisting with any other tasks the Finance Manager may see fit.
Hours of Work

Monday - Friday

09:00am - 17:30pm

You may be required to work additional hours dependant on business / customer requirements.

Skill Set
  • Experience of working within a customer service or administrative role.
  • Experience working in a finance or freight forwarding role is desirable but not essential.
  • Pass Grade in GCSE English & Maths or Equivalent.
  • Computer literate and able to learn how to use new systems effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
  • Confident using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good attention to detail when handling data.

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
