Reporting to the Workshop Manager, as a Trainee Labourer / Powder Coater you’ll be working as part of a friendly and dedicated team, You will be required to check individual components and load into stillages, clean and de-grease the industrial doors, coating a wide range of bespoke industrial doors such as roller shutters, high-speed doors, folding shutters, and garage doors, with a polyester powder coat finish, inspect the doors to ensure a high-quality finish, wrapping and checking industrial doors ready for despatch and loading up vehicles ready for delivery.

Our Requirements:

  • Full training will be given to carry out your duties as a Trainee labourer/Powder Coater
  • Reside within a 15-mile radius of our premises on Warrington Road Industrial Estate in Wigan (Greater Manchester)
  • High level of attention to detail and standard of work
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, take direction, and work on own initiative where appropriate
  • Flexible attitude, with good organisation and prioritisation skills

The Package

As a Trainee Labourer/Powder Coater you will be working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, and will benefit from:

  • Salary in the region of £23,000 to £24,000, with the level dependent on experience
  • Paid overtime available from time to time
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
  • Permanent contract
