Trainee machinist

We have a wonderful opportunity to work for a family run Global Market Leader within the Aerospace sector who have been established for nearly 80 years.

 This role is based at their Chalgrove site in South Oxfordshire

The need is for a trainee machinist who will ideally have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Salary is £25K per annum + great benefits.

Hours are 08.00-16.45 Monday to Thursday with a 12pm early finish on Fridays.

You will undertake a machinist training regime under the guidance of the machine shop training partner.

You will undertake a variety of processes for product manufacture of parts on a variety of machine tools.

You will ensure that all the machining and inspectio0nactivities are delivered efficiently in accordance with the production schedule and MBA standard operating procedures and H&S requirements.

About you

• You will need to have basic PC skills
• Great communication skills
• Manual dexterity
• Basic admin routines
