Industria Personnel services are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Trainee Production Assistant based in Nuneaton, this position is temp-perm for the right candidate.

About our client:

They are the world’s largest manufacturer of round shank cutting tools. Established in 1938, they have a longstanding reputation as a total solution round shank cutting tools provider throughout the manufacturing industry. They hold the No.1 position in the Japanese cutting tool market as well as a top-ranking position globally, with a production, sales and technical network spanning 33 countries.

They are looking for an enthusiastic individual that's ready to learn, work hard & start a career in the engineering industry, duties will include:

  • Assisting with day to day running of the manual grinding machines
  • Perform first piece and in process inspections
  • Clean machine and tooling product produced
  • Following health & safety guidelines
  • Keeping work area clean and tidy

Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30-16:30 & Friday 7:30-12:30

Hourly rate: £8.60-£11.44

(18-20 £8.60 / 21 & over £11.44)

The successful candidate:

  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm to undertake a practical, hands-on role in a manufacturing engineering environment
  • Enthusiasm, motivation and a positive attitude
  • Relevant work experience done through school or college would be beneficial although is not essential
  • Have a good understanding of mathematics & problem solving

No qualifications or experience required full on the job training will be provided.
