An experienced Property Claims Handler is required to join a Global Insurer & Risk Management organisation where you be part of a structured career development training programme progressing to become a Loss Adjuster.

  • You will be assessing Commercial Property Losses and Business Interruption claims in the UK and globally including the Middle East and Africa.
  • You will join the Claims Department initially working desk-based with occasional site visits which will involve the investigation, negotiation, and settlement of claims with responsibility for developing and maintaining long term relationships with policyholders.
  • You will manage losses up to 500,000 dollars.
  • As part of a training programme, you will learn online, working closely with experienced Adjusters and will involve travelling to the US as part of your training and development programme.

About you:

  • Experienced in handling Property Claims cradle to grave (Household or Commercial HNW) experience of Business Interruption would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written and face to face.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Extremely organised and efficient with first class management skills and thorough attention to detail
  • Ideally degree qualified
  • Progressing or have the desire to study and complete Industry qualifications such as ACII.
  • Enthusiastic about travelling overseas to attend site visits.
  • Committed and passionate about learning and progressing your career into an Adjuster role.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary circa £50,000 per annum
