We are looking for a Trainee Property Manager to join a lettings business based in Stocksbridge. This is a great role for anyone wanting to start their career in property, full training provided.

In this role you will manage a portfolio of rental properties. This is an incredibly varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll manage the marketing of the properties, organise viewings and contracts and then look after the tenants throughout their tenancy.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals. This role requires someone who is organised  and can work at pace.

Main duties to include:
  • Advertise available properties and speak to potential tenants
  • Agree rental terms with tenants and confirm in writing
  • Complete referencing checks, process deposits and agree a move in date
  • Handle property maintenance, liaising with tenant, landlords and contractors
  • Assess move out reports and organise the release of tennant’s deposits
  • Ensure properties have correct certificates and are compliant with latest legislation
We are looking for:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Someone who is organised and can work work to deadlines
  • Someone who remains calm under pressure
  • Own transport is preferred (for viewings) however it’s not essential
  • A great relationship builder who can engage with a wide range of landlords and tenants
Benefits:
  • Salary £23k-£25k
  • Hours: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, with 1 late night (11am-7pm) and 1 Saturday per month (9am-1pm) 37.5 hours per week
