Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Engagement:

  • Engage early with the supply chain on key packages, providing feedback to Planning Design.
  • Review alternative methods to understand design constraints, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate on early packages and maintain subcontractor relationships.
  • Attend Design Team Meetings, review RIBA Stage 1-3, and contribute to Value Engineering.
  • Meet with consultants to identify early design value engineering opportunities.
  • Liaise with commercial teams to capture scope gaps and lessons learned.
  • Conduct Project Benchmark comparisons and analysis.
  • Propose solutions to project obstacles.

Cost Plans and Reporting:

  • Assist in creating consolidated Cost Plans/BOQs.
  • Support transition to 3D cost planning.
  • Analyze benchmark information and maintain the Benchmark Database.
  • Produce monthly commercial dashboards.
  • Develop a Benchmark Tool for pre-release schemes.

Fit Out Specification Database:

  • Help create a database of Internal Finish Specifications and Costs.
  • Establish supply chain relationships and review new products.
  • Ensure informed decisions and cost certainty within budgets.
