Trainee Service Engineer:

The Trainee Service Engineer role:

• Working out of the Harlow HQ and initially learning and shadowing an experienced Engineer
• After Training you will be field based attending jobs assigned to you for:
• Product delivery and installation
• Call out and maintenance visits
• Servicing equipment and ensuring any client operational issues are resolved
• Diagnosis and replacing parts for equipment
• The right candidate does not necessarily need to have any electrical qualifications, as training for this role will be on the job
• Some of the equipment issues would require the use of a laptop and diagnostic software so you must be Tech Savvy and IT computer literate.
• A full driving licence is essential as a company vehicle is offered after training

Trainee Service Engineer candidate skills:

• Confident with excellent customer facing skills
• Able to commute to Harlow Head Office
• Confident in driving to various locations to visit clients and carry out repairs and installations
• Be able to and happy to attend any trade shows or exhibitions with the company
• From time to time be happy to attend on site jobs where hotel stay is required overnight - paid by the company

The working hours would be from 8:00 - 16:30, Monday - Friday, anything after this is paid as overtime.
