Trainee Sociology Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Sociology Teacher to join our vibrant school community in London. This role offers a unique chance to develop your teaching skills and gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while specialising in Sociology and/or the Sciences.

What You'll Do:

• Teach and Inspire: Work closely with experienced teachers to deliver engaging lessons on Sociology
• Curriculum Development: Assist in planning and delivering creative projects that inspire students to explore their potential in these subjects.
• Classroom Management: Learn effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities provided by the Grad2Teach programme.
• Assessment and Feedback: Support student progress through regular assessments, feedback, and personalised support.

What We're Looking For:

• Passion for Sociology: A strong interest in these subjects and a desire to share that passion with students.
• Education: A degree in Sociology, or a related field.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
