Handle Recruitment are assisting a leading music client in their search for a Trainee Tax Accountant. This junior position will offer full training and support (ATT/AAT) and play a key supporting role within an established tax division. Working with some leading names in the music industry this is a superb and progressive suitable role for someone looking to develop a tax career within one of the most exciting sectors around.

Suitable for a candidate with a platform of practical tax administration experience, this role will support and be responsible for the below tasks:

  • You will prepare to review stage and submit personal, partnership and corporation Tax Returns
  • Assist the Tax Manager with the effective running of the Tax Department, including submissions and payments, workflow, and statistics.
  • You will assist with the preparation tax forms
  • You will assist departments in respect of taxation queries
  • Be available to provide assistance to other client advisers
  • Correspond on routine matters with HMRC
  • Prepare and apply for certificates of residence, providing tax information for mortgage applications or for accountants/advisers
  • Organise the department filing
  • Assist with tax projects
  • Prepare various Tax Forms for review

The successful candidate will come from an accounting/tax background, ideally within an accountancy practice and be experienced with tax duties and tax administration. Looking for someone passionate about music, you will be a team player, possess strong communication skills and have a keen eye for detail. Study support is on offer - ATT.
