Trainee Technical Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK's leading Energy Consultancy as a Trainee Technical Advisor in their offices in Wakefield. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing highly technical support to their clients across the UK.

Role responsibilities for a Trainee Technical Advisor include:

  • Work alongside the training team and provide support to members, trainees, and customers
  • Provide guidance to learners and help mentor them through their energy journey
  • Provision of technical support via online assessment feedback, telephone, and emails
  • Training for the DEA qualification will be provided as well as A1 CAVA Vocational Assessing qualification

The ideal Trainee Technical Advisor will have:

  • A good understanding and knowledge of the energy assessment and built environment industry
  • It would be beneficial to have the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
  • Previous experience within a client facing role, being able to provide highly technical advice through previous customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
  • Ideally have a Domestic Energy Assessor qualification, although full training will be provided to achieve this accreditation
