Permanent opportunity to join our well established and successful client within the engineering/manufacturing industry based in Hempsted, Gloucester that have ambitious future plans for growth! The Trainee Technical Order Administrator will play an integral role in supporting the administrative needs of both the Management and Sales Teams. Significant product training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to general sales requests that come through the sales desk and where necessary provide quotations.

- Ensure all company purchase orders are raised and emailed the same day to suppliers complete with accurate information to enable them to supply the correct products at the correct prices and discount levels.

- Take responsibility and ownership of product returns and the communication back and forth between customer and supplier.

- Ensure all customer invoices are raised and posted the same day as despatch and are clear to read with all relevant information displayed.

- Ensure any abnormalities are reported to the Finance Manager and are rectified promptly.

- Follow latest procedures to progress chase with suppliers on all outstanding overdue orders and inform the relevant customer(s) daily as required.

- Receive goods, accurately book them into stock and despatch customer orders using the systems provided as appropriate.

No previous experience is required as full training is provided. Essentially, we are looking for someone who is bright, enthusiastic and is keen to learn. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a company that is very happy to train and offer lots of development opportunities!

Candidate Attributes:

- Good knowledge of the English Language both orally and written.

- Prepared to take on a variety of different challenges each day.

- You will have a friendly, outgoing nature and relish working as part of a small team.

Hours - Monday - Thursday - 8.30am - 5pm & 4pm finish on a Friday (36.5 hours) Part time hours will also be considered.

Salary - Up to £22k plus bonus of £2-5k per annum + 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
