Position: ICAVS Training Facilitator
Location: Various locations across the UK and potential international travel
Hours: 40hr week, with potential weekend work
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Paying up to £43,000 + £4,500 car allowance
Security Clearance: SC Level (can be obtained upon hiring)
Reporting to: Training Simulator Manager

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated candidate to lead and manage the delivery of onsite Interim Combined Arms Virtual Simulation (Deployable) (ICAVS(D)) training events for the British Army. This role involves setting up, configuring, and running all aspects of the ICAVS(D) system to provide bespoke training events tailored to the specific needs of military units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, configure, and operate the system for training events.
  • Deliver training support to UK Army units, particularly in joint fires scenarios including artillery and air-ground attack operations.
  • Travel extensively across various UK locations including Larkhill, Plymouth, Fareham, North Yorkshire, Northumbria, and Colchester.
  • Potential for international travel
  • Work independently or as part of a small team, sometimes involving collaboration with field support engineers and other training facilitators.
  • Provide operator support and training delivery for mobile kits and larger exercises.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • No formal qualifications required; however, a background in joint fires, particularly within the Royal Artillery or UK Army command post/fire support teams, is essential.
  • Previous experience with military simulations or virtual training systems is highly desirable.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be prepared for ravel.
  • Ability to work flexible hours
