Training Officer

We are committed to providing high-quality care and support to our customers. In line with our mission, we are seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Trainer to join us and contribute to making a positive impact for all of our customers.

Role Overview:

As a Health and Social Care Trainer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our workforce is well-equipped to provide high-quality care services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality training programs.
  • Regularly reviewing and enhancing training content.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations as needed.
  • Maintaining training records and matrices.
  • Staying updated on industry training developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a comprehensive training schedule to meet our business needs.
  • Deliver mandatory induction and update training sessions as per our training schedule.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of training content across the organisation.
  • Provide ad hoc training as required to meet specific needs.
  • Maintain accurate training records and update training matrices.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in training methodologies.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Previous training experience (ideally over 2 years).
  • Working knowledge of Health and Social Care within Adult Services.
  • Experience with Skills for Care Care Certificate.
  • Strong teamwork, discretion, and diplomacy skills.
  • Leadership experience, including managing NVQ/Diploma/Apprenticeship study programs.
  • The ability to develop training programs and conduct training needs analysis.
  • A talent for delivering engaging and informative training sessions.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
