Transactional Finance Team Leader | Leeds | Hybrid | £35,000 

Fantastic opportunity for an individual with leadership experience to take ownership of the transactional finance function and team. Working for a a growing business within the marketing services sector, you would be joining a business with a brilliant working environment and culture, which truly values its employees.

Your key responsibilities will include directly managing two individuals in Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger, orchestrating seamless transaction processing, and contributing to enhancements in our reporting frameworks, systems, and controls.

THE JOB:
  • Overseeing Transactional processes, management of sales and purchase ledger
  • Providing cashflow forecasts
  • Review all balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly reconciliations
  • Manage intercompany recharges and balances
  • Managing payroll processing
  • Leading month end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
  • Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
  • Maintain the daily cashflows
  • Support the Finance Business Partners with ad hoc projects


EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS /SKILLS:
  • Team management experience
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical, analytic, and reporting skills
  • Excellent IT skills (advanced knowledge of Excel essential)
  • Accurate and attention to detail
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Technically strong
  • Inquisitive and a finisher
