Transformation Operations Security Lead, Security Lead (DV Cleared)

We are currently recruiting for a DV Cleared Transformation Operations Security Lead to join a leading government and defence organisation based in Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previous experiences of overseeing the effectiveness of operational security measures including access management controls, security awareness training and communications.

Rate - £1000.00 per day to overall assignment rate of umbrella

Location - Hampshire - remote working

Duration - 6 Months with the potential of extension

The Role

Within this role you will be managing and maintaining security operations for the Defence client within information security policies and strategies, applicable contractual commitments, legal requirements and industry practices. You will be overseeing the effectiveness of operational security measures including access management controls, security awareness training and communications. Furthermore, you will be reviewing and managing security risks and threat assessments to provide regular meetings and KPIs to measure and monitor the compliance and effectiveness of infosec security operations and to summarise the security incidents

Key Skills

• You will have previously worked within Information Security management systems within a large organisation
• You must have the ability to interpret strategies and policies providing guidance to others on working in the strategic context
• Experience in facilitating and delivering key business outcomes
• A clear and concise understanding of the Data Protection Act 2018
• Strong infosec background
• You must currently hold DV Clearance
