TRANSPORT COMPIANCE
Duties
Focussing predominantly on transport legal compliance, responsibilities will include:
- Management of drivers’ hours and O Licence requirements.
- Ensuring legal compliance across the fleet including scheduling of services and liaising with service providers. Downloading vehicles, completing the missing mileage reports, making sure the required documentation for each vehicle is available and uploaded to the software.
- Actioning any repairs from the daily defect reports and recording them on the system.
- Working with the despatch team to ensure that vehicles are loaded and secured safely.
- Undertaking H&S duties as required.
- Supporting in the implementation of transport strategies.
- Support the Transport Manager with Transport KPI’s and FORs compliance requirements.
The preferred candidate will have:
- Experience of driver compliance, tacho data and working hours regulations.
- Understanding of Operator’s Licence requirements and experience of dealing with an Operator’s Licence.
- Knowledge of Transport planning and route scheduling.
- The successful candidate will have Microsoft Office experience and be knowledgeable about fleet and transport environments. A CPC qualification or FORS Practitioner certification would be desirable.
- As well as excellent communication and analytical skills, you will be able to multitask and prioritise your workload. Management experience in penalty charge notices and an understanding of cost-saving are also favourable.

- Strong transport compliance knowledge and experience.
- Good understanding of Vision is essential.

- Ensure that all operational and procedural guidelines for I.T./Business systems are followed to protect the data integrity
- Ensure that Company and Statutory Health & Safety requirements are met and maintained at all times.
