Transport Manager

Are you an experienced Transport Manager with a background in food product transportation?

I am delighted to be supporting a Teesside-based FMCG on the appointment of a Transport Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This company is looking for an experienced candidate who can come onboard and manage their internal fleet of vehicles as well as manage the planning of goods transportation around the UK. As an experienced transport professional, you will have a good understanding of planning routes, managing external haulage companies, as well as negotiating rates and agreeing contracts, as well as managing an internal fleet of haulage.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate with a good understanding of transportation, logistics and haulage and who has the ability to hit the ground running.
