Your Role:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for the transport team, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency.
• Reputation Management: Uphold and enhance our company's reputation by reducing speeding fines and ensuring high standards in processes and paperwork.
• Team Discipline: Control the activities and discipline of all van drivers to ensure an efficient and top-quality service to our customers.
• Staffing & Training: Maintain adequate staffing levels and address all training needs to ensure sustained quality service.
• Performance Management: Work closely with the Depot Manager to achieve measurable and controllable KPIs and budget targets.
• Route Optimization: Collaborate with the Depot Manager, National Distribution Team, and Sales team to review and optimize van routes.
• Health & Safety: Implement current laws and regulations relating to Health and Safety in conjunction with the Group Health & Safety Manager.
• Communication & Relationships: Build strong relationships with drivers, promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration.
