Transport Planner - Nights

This blue chip business is recruiting 2 Transport Planners for their nights’ operation. These are important roles to the business and customer base that will make best use of all your experience and transport knowledge.

Ensuring deliveries are on time in full, your key duties will include:

• Assist in the planning of vehicles and job orders.
• Monitor vehicles and drivers to ensure all jobs run smoothly and punctually.
• Build working relationships with customers dealing with any issues and provide solutions.
• Provide support and route planning for drivers and provide updates to customers.
• Managing driver hours via Transport Management System ensuring compliance.

They are looking for candidates to work either a 4 on 4 off night shift or 5 nights. In order to be successful in this role you will be committed to working nights, have strong Transport Planning experience, great communication skills and good UK geographical knowledge. You must also have strong problem solving skills, be able to work on your own initiative.
