This established, profitable and expanding business is looking for an additional Nights Transport Planner to join their growing team. Working from their site in Liverpool this is a good option for an ambitious Transport Planner to get in with a company at the right time and going in the right direction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing deliveries through own fleet and sub-contractors to customers on time in full.
  • Vehicle, load and driver allocation, effective resource management.
  • Monitor vehicles and drivers to ensure all jobs run smoothly.
  • Build working relationships with customers and colleagues dealing with any issues and provide solutions.
  • Provide support and route planning for drivers and provide updates to customers.
  • Managing driver hours via Transport Management System ensuring compliance.

This role covers the night shift over 5 nights, 5x10hour shifts. Candidates must be committed to working nights and have strong planning experience, good geographical knowledge and excellent customer service skills. You will be used to working to deadlines, work well under pressure and have the ability to build effective working relationships with drivers, support staff and management alike.
