Transport Planner

Bennett and Game are currently working with a multi-disciplined Transport company who are actively looking for a skilled Transport Planner to join their expanding team based within Rotherham.

Due to multiple contact wins, company merges and general expansion and success, our client is now looking for the next addition to join their Transport team. This is a great opportunity for someone to further develop their career within a company that truly puts their staff first.

• Within this role your core focus will be to manage the planning side of the transport office: planning routes, maximising fuel spend and efficiency, maximising loads and drop-off's.

• You will work closely with Transport Managers to manage drivers' hours, documentation, tacho cards, and infringements etc.

• Proven planning experience within a Pallet operation
• Experience dealing with 3rd party hauliers
• Experience on planning / TMS systems
• Ability to manage drivers' hours, documentation, working hours etc
• Strong customer service experience (phone, email and in person)

• Salary DOE £25 - 32k
• Monday - Friday (afternoon shift)
• 28 days holiday (including banks) - increases on tenure
