Transport planner / Senior transport planner
Fleet, hampshire
£34.000 - £45.000

DK Recruitment is seeking for an experienced / senior transport planner to support our client.This is a role for someone with over 5 years of experience with a civil engineering background.

They are looking for someone that really shares the dedication to provide a good service. You will be preparing transport assesments and will need experience in capacity assesment using ARCADY, PICADY OR LINSIG. With this you need to be client facing and need to liase with contractors, local & national authorities.

Main Duties:

  • Preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
  • Preparation of Travel Plans as and Travel Plan Coordination
  • Preparation and presentation of technical data and drawings
  • Undertaking junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG (One of these will be considered)
  • To ensure that all assigned tasks / jobs are delivered on-time and to budget
  • To check the quality and accuracy of work produced by junior team members
  • Support Team Leaders in the delivery of comprehensive advice to clients on Highways & Transport matters from preliminary advice / feasibility work
  • Undertaking site appraisals/visits and designing surveys, through to providing input to written reports and presentational material


Education/ Experience:

  • Degree in applicable subject. Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processes
  • Member of Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT)
