Travel and Tourism Lecturer
  • Salary Range: £20-£30 per hour
  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Job Type: Part-time (0.8), Temporary (with potential for temp to perm)

We are currently seeking a Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join a vibrant college in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences and enrichment activities that inspire and promote learner engagement and achievement.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Travel and Tourism to a diverse group of learners.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, fostering an environment conducive to learning and personal development.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
  • Participate in curriculum development and stay updated with the latest industry trends and educational best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and strategies for student success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A Level 3 qualification or above in Travel and Tourism, or equivalent.
  • A Level 2 qualification or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Hold a teaching qualification or be currently working towards one.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage students in the learning process.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence.
