Summary: A renowned Housing Association that is dedicated to providing quality, below-market rent homes for those in need, are looking for a Treasury Operations Manager to join the team, manage 2 staff and ensuring the smooth running of the function. 

The Client: 
This Housing Association is a leading landlord and developer with over 60,000 homes and 8,000 more in development. They are committed to supporting communities across the capital through their well-established commercial business, where surpluses are reinvested to ensure sustainable and affordable housing for the residents. 
Having recently gone through a restructure they are keen to have a Treasury Operations Manager come in to lead the function.  

The Role:
  • Lead the day-to-day operational treasury functions, delivering top-tier service to all stakeholders.
  • Assist in implementing the annual treasury plan, ensuring compliance with treasury management policies.
  • Manage debt strategies, loan agreements, bank accounts, and ensure timely capital & interest payments.
  • Oversee daily banking requirements, maintaining accurate banking platforms and compliance.
  • Provide cash flow forecasts and manage surplus cash investments with approved counter parties.
  • Lead, develop and support 2 treasury analysts.
Successful Candidate:
  • Hold a CCAB recognised accounting qualification and a treasury qualification.
  • Experience in treasury management, debt management, and risk assessment.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with banks, lenders, and government bodies, managing a complex treasury portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and risk assessment.
