Finance Partner
Salary: up to £38,000
Location: Middlesbrough (with occasional travel across Cleveland and North Yorkshire)
Holidays: 27 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

We are working with an organisation based in Middlesbrough to appoint a proactive and dynamic Finance Partner to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing financial guidance and support offering a unique opportunity to ensure effective financial management, accurate reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing financial guidance and support offering a unique opportunity to ensure effective financial management, accurate reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Finance Business Partner to develop and manage budgets for services within the organisation.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, assist in consolidation reporting, and ensure accurate budget presentations within PS Financials.
- Support budget holders in effective resource management and financial monitoring.
- Produce various monthly reports, reconciliations, and returns including VAT, cash flow, bank, and payroll reconciliations.
- Manage debtors and creditors, ensuring adherence to reporting timetables and internal controls.
- Support the maintenance of core finance software packages and participate in internal and external audits.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or working towards qualification.
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting within an educational or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, procedures, and software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites.
