Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a prestigious private client advisory firm in their search for a Trust Manager to join their London-based team.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a quality portfolio of private clients, trusts, and family office structures - delivering bespoke advice, building strong relationships, and leading with technical expertise.

About the Role:

As Trust Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, advising across complex structures involving trusts, inheritance tax, family investment companies, and investment assets. You'll act as a trusted advisor while supporting junior team members and contributing to the firm's continued reputation for outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of trust and personal clients, overseeing compliance, reporting, and advisory matters
  • Provide tailored advice on trust structuring, IHT planning, and investment strategies
  • Liaise with trustees, beneficiaries, and intermediaries to maintain strong working relationships
  • Review and approve complex trust accounts and tax computations
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their development
  • Work closely with legal and financial teams to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Identify business development opportunities and assist in establishing new trusts

About You:
  • STEP Diploma and/or equivalent professional qualification such as CTA
  • Significant experience managing a portfolio of trust clients in a professional services setting
  • Strong knowledge of UK trust law, inheritance tax, and personal taxation
  • Familiarity with CCH Trust Accounts and related software
  • Experience with Family Investment Companies advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive, client-focused, and commercially aware
