Trust Tax Manager - Top 40 firm
London (Hybrid)
£55,000 to £70,000

Butler Rose Public Practice and delighted to be partnering with our client, a well-known and established Top 40 accounting firm, that are keen to appoint a skilled, experienced, and ambitious Trust Tax Manager into this key role within the Trust team and to work closely with Directors and partners on a varied portfolio to include charitable trusts.

Role Requirements -
Responsible for an interesting and varied portfolio of UK resident and charitable trusts, including ensuring key deadlines for annual accounts and tax compliance are met
Reviewing work prepared by members of the team, input into their training and mentoring
Assisting with advisory work and ad-hoc matters, including high level taxation and general advice regarding Inheritance Tax
Liaising with tax, accounts and financial planning teams, as appropriate, to ensure a joined-up approach
Monitoring budgets, own chargeability and raising fee notes
Experience of charitable trusts, probate work and estate accounts advantageous but not essential, with an opportunity for development in those areas!
Person Requirements -
At least 5+ years' tax experience at a senior/manager level with significant exposure to trusts
CTA and/or STEP Qualified is highly desirable however those candidates qualified by experience will be given equal consideration
