Uniform Education are working with schools across North west London, Harrow & Brent who are looking to recruit a pool of tutors.

Looking for a dedicated outreach tutor to join our team? Our tutoring service offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the community by helping students reach their academic goals.

The role:

10-15 hours a week between Monday and Friday term time only between the hours of 08:30-16:00

The tutoring will take place within student homes or local libraries

Working with students who are awaiting school places, students who have been excluded from schools, students with various needs such as ASD or SEMH

The tutor

You will ideally hold QTS or equivalent, however, applications welcome from unqualified teachers with a strong subject knowledge of Literacy, numeracy or Science

If you are primary, SEND or secondary trained, we want to hear from you

Be able to engage with students who may not be interested in education or schooling

Have the ability to be patient with the student/s you are allocated

Complete weekly reporting on your student/s progress versus IEP or targets
